Welcome to the
Official Marion Drexler Band Web Site
Singer/songwriter Marion Drexler, anchors The Marion Drexler Band, along with Don Maitland, Peter Kufner and Tom Pullin. We specialize in making people smile! Our band, amazingly, plays a huge music variety and plays them all exceptionally well – sure to please just about everyone at your event. Rhythm and Blues, Blues, Rock, Pop, Country, Jazz and Gospel influences abound. Marion Drexler and each musician bring deep and different musical experiences to the stage and high energy and sensitivity to every event.
When we're not working on studio projects, The Marion Drexler Band is as comfortable in clubs, pubs and private parties (including outdoor settings), as we are at weddings, corporate functions and charity events. We take what we do very seriously, but not ourselves! The Band always has fun and encourages audiences to get in on the party! Wherever we play, organizers and attendees alike seem to love what we do…and we do too! Check out the "Fans" tab on the site.
The Marion Drexler Band is based in the GTA and performs all over, including Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Stouffville, Sutton, Uxbridge, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Trenton, Guelph, Britt and beyond. Marion has appeared on Rogers TV York Region, Canoe Radio in Haliburton, The HAZEFM in Mississauga and WhiStle Radio FM 102.7 in Stouffville.
You CAN have the Marion Drexler Band at your event! How? Because we pride ourselves at being able to tailor the size of our band and types of music we play to your budget, your event size and the type and feel of tunes you'd like to hear. From Marion performing as a solo singer (weddings and other special events) to duets, trios and our traditional 4-peice, to a five, six or a seven piece dance band complete with a horn section, The Marion Drexler Band can make it happen for you!
